Zion appreciates true style, having started her fashion career at SHADES, Kings Road, London, selling and recreating vintage clothes. Zion worked customising anything from American classics to forties dresses for artists and customers. The influences of this work introduced her to a wider aspect in the world of fashion and music; styling.
The influences are reflective in Zion’s designs through a fusion of colour and her passion to create ethical and sustainable clothing which is the philosophy behind the Design and Styling Services.
Having worked internationally, in London, US and Africa designing and styling for film and fashion, Zion has received many accolades for her work. In 2015 showcased her ethnic designs during Parliament Week at the House of Westminster and was nominated for the Diva of Colour Award for styling. 2014 was a busy year for Zion, after showcasing at New York Fashion Week in February 2014, Zion was the winner of the London Fashion Week Designer competition, and featured in the Screen Nation Awards Red Carpet 2014. In 2018 Zion was voted Fashion Entrepreneur winner at the Black Beauty and Fashion Awards.
Styling by Zion is featured in LFWSS16 Luxuria.com magazine, Vogue UK July 2014 with Karlie Kloss and Vogue Festival Street Chic 2013 and 2014, London Fashion Week, Black Lifestyle Magazine Germany and BENTV- Lifestyle show.
In the world of music and film production Zion is a IMDb credited Wardrobe and Costume designer. Working in both London and LA including Idris Elba’s directorial debut Yardie and Nadine Sutherland Inna Mi Blood official music video. Previously the in-house wardrobe stylist for DKW SkyTV she is regularly seen at Fashion Weeks and International music festivals.
